Robert Greene
Robert Greene ka lindur më 14 maj 1959 dhe është autor i të paktën 6 librave që janë bestseller-a ndërkombëtar. Ai konsiderohet si autori amerikan më i mirë për librat mbi strategjinë, fuqinë dhe joshjen. Greene është djali i një familje hebreje, i rritur në Los Angelos. Ai ka ndjekur studimet në universitetet e Berkeley dhe Uisconsi-n, në SHBA, duke marrë një diplomë në studimet klasike.
Para fillimit të shkrimit të librave ai ka bërë shumë profesione të tjera si redaktor, skenarist filmash etj. Mes përvojave të shumta të punës ka qenë edhe puna në një shkollë arti dhe media në Itali.
Vepra e tij e parë është “48 ligjet e pushtetit”, botuar në vitin 1998, e cila është një bestseller ndërkombëtar me mbi 2 milionë kopje të shitura. Vepra të tjera të këtij autori janë: “Arti i joshjes”, “33 strategjitë e luftës”, “Ligji i 50-të”, “Ligjet e natyrës njerëzore”, “Mjeshtria”. Vepra “Ligjet e përditshme” u botua në vitin 2021. Disa prej librave të këtij autori kanë ardhur në shqip nga shtëpia botuese Pema.
Robert Greene shquhet për formimin e tij të jashtëzakonshëm, - njohjen e thelluar të historisë së botës, sidomos të natyrës njerëzore, të ideologjisë, të luftës dhe të natyrës njerëzore. Përmes veprave të tij, gërshetohen disa disiplina si historia, filozofia, psikologjia, etj.
Robert Greene flet pesë gjuhë të huaja. Ai është i martuar me Anna Biller e cila është producente filmash. Po ashtu, Green është ndjekës i Budizmit Zen. Ky autor është mentor i Ryan Holiday, autor i disa librave bestseller në të gjithë botën si Pengesa është rrugëdalja, Egoja është armiku, etj.
